Karel R&D has a great deal of experience in communication electronics, military electronics and consumer electronics, and has recently been carrying out important work in automotive and industrial electronics. Karel R&D center designs Karel products and provides design services to brands such as Arçelik, Haier, Haceb, Aselsan. In addition to its main fields of activity, Karel R&D center also carries out research and development activities in the fields of artificial intelligence, internet of things and automotive in line with the guidance of the innovation board.
With its electronic and mechanical design and software development activities, Karel R&D center has the capability to provide design and engineering services at all levels, from the electronic boards whose requirements are exactly defined by the customers to the final product at the idea stage.

Karel effectively manages the process from initial idea of a product to a working prototype and mass production with cross-functional teams. Design for manufacturing (DFX) is taken into account for Karel designed products.
Karel's "new product introduction process" consists of identification, feasibility, DFX supported product and process design, product and process validation, pilot production and cost validation.

Karel production facilities have 5 production halls, each with different production features for different business units and each with a separate factory size. 2500+ types of products with different complexity and volumes are produced in these production halls.
The production facility includes 23+ SMD, 6+ Axial, 3+ Radial production lines, 5+ laser marking machines, ultrasonic washing machines, fully automatic and semi-automatic production lines, wave soldering machines, state-of-the-art test equipment (ICT, AOI, X-Ray, Vibration, Sealing, Temperature, Humidity).
